Your dog will come to my home for training. During the day, they will be inside with my family practicing commands or on an excursion to practice in public. At night, they will sleep in their own individual kennel. The room is monitored via camera, and it is also temperature controlled and monitored via Waggle software. Additionally, each dog is equipped with a Fi GPS collar for added peace of mind.
During your dog's stay, s/he will be fed morning and evening with food provided by you. Please be sure to pack enough food for the duration of their stay, as well as written instructions if their food has mix-ins, or if your dog needs medications. I encourage you to also pack their favorite treats, as well as any toys or bedding that they prefer. I have plenty of bowls, leashes, etc. so just the above items are fine.
This is on a case by case basis.
Playtime with other dogs is preferable because it not only makes for a more enjoyable stay, but helps build your dog's social skills. However, this is not always safe. During the first few days of your dog's stay, I will be evaluating their body language and distance interaction skills. Once and if I've determined it is safe for all dogs involved, they will be allowed supervised play time.
Everyday!
It's my goal is that you remain informed, and feel included in the training process! Every day you will receive an update on your dog's progress and activities, as well as a photo or video from their day. And as always, I am just a call or text away!
